I just had to post my new favorite picture of the girls. Captures the essence of childhood, summer, fun, sister love, and laughter. Love these girls. Gotta say that I think they are the cutest kids ever!! :)

7 years!
7 years ago today we got married at the Coronado Marriot. Our top priorities for our wedding were location and fun. We chose this location because we wanted to have our wedding outdoors. The ceremony was overlooking the bay and the reception was also right on the water, under a large tent with white twinkley lights. It was beautiful.
We wrote our entire ceremony and memorized it. Looking back I have no idea why we tortured ourselves this way... we were so preoccupied with "our lines" for days before and on the actual day. I actually think it was a good thing-because I would've been a total basketcase without this distraction. My dad got ordained on the internet to marry us-which made it all the more special-and all the more touching. Now that I am a parent, I can really "get" what a tough day that was for my daddy to literally "give" his little girl away.
The night was a huge partay and we had so much fun!! We drank and danced the night away. I vividly remember cutting the cake while Dean Martin's "Thats Amore" played and everyone was singing along together. I can honestly say it was one of the most fun days of my life. All our friends and family joined together...will probably never happen again- all the most important people in our lives in one place at one time. We went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon and had the BEST time!!!
It is hard to believe how quickly the time has flown. Harder to believe that Bijan and I have been together for TWELVE years. This year I feel especially blessed to have such an incredible marriage and such an awesome husband. What do I love most about Bijan...so many things...his honesty, his integrity, his sincereness...his undying love for all of his girls, his impecable nature, his ease at getting along with just about everyone, the way he loves to dance, his talent for fixing (and doing) anything he puts his mind to, the way he calms me down when I am crazy, the way he makes me laugh, his handsome looks, his warm hugs, his loving heart. Bijan is my best friend and truly my other half. He has made my life so happy. I love him so much. I am a lucky girl.
7 years later we have two wonderful children, a beautiful home-wonderful people in our lives, good health and happiness. We are truly blessed.

Wiggles
We broke down and took the kids to a Wiggles show. I must say, it was so fun. It was sooooo cute to see the girls singing and dancing and having so much fun! Sadly, Bijan and I knew most of the words to most of the songs...and I gotta say...those Wiggles put on quite a show. We learned beforehand to bring a rose for Dorothy and a bone for Wags. We made a sign that said "Bella and Caleigh love the Wiggles" and Murray read it! Special evening for us.

Bella Dancerella
So Bella is taking her first dance class this summer and its the MOST ADORABLE THING EVER! Every mommy to a little girl needs to put their little girl in at least one dance class. Just seeing a bunch of three year olds in leotards will put a smile on anyone's face. Bella seems to really like it too. Her three girlfriends are taking it with her-Emma, Sophie and Elise...so much fun for them all!!!
new cousin Bodhi
Sadly, Yasmine's dog of 15 years passed recently. She lead a long, happy, pampered life. She led the best dog life of any little doggie we knew. Yasmine (Bijan's sister) met little Bodhi at the pet store when she was lookin for a little doggie lovin to help ease her pain. Something connected between Yasmine and Bodhi-and now she has a precious little puppy. He is soooo cute!! Bella wasn't really sure about him but Caleigh fell in love with him INSTANTLY. She was seriously squealing in delight when lil Bodhi came thru the door. She was screaming and ooohing and aaahing. At one point Bodhi bit Caleigh's little pigtail and it didn't phase her a bit. Kaya will always have a special place in our heart and now Bodhi is a new addition to the Bijan family.
What up CUZ (s)
The girls ADORE their cousins Adam & Benjamin. They are my sisters twin boys who share the same exact birthday as Miss Caleigh. We recently went to the dinky but cute pettting zoo, Zoomars, in San Juan Capistrano. Benny was the only one brave enough to ride the pony, all the kids loved feeding the animals, but the highlight for all was riding the train. Its fun living so close to family.
My precious babies
My precious baby girls. Not such babies anymore. Weep weep. Bella Elizabeth is now 3 1/2-full of spunk, personality, attitude, and fun. She is so smart and always has so much to say. Caleigh (like Callie) Shea will be 2 in September. My itty bitty baby is not such a baby anymore. She can light up any room with her smile. She is our charmer. The girls are now becoming friends and it is just so fun to watch. Caleigh idolizes her big sister and imitates just about everything Bella does. They really do enjoy playing together. I really am happy that I had them so close together. It was a lot harder when they were "babies". I am sure it'll be even harder when they are teenagers. I love these girls more than words can express. They are my sunshine and my light. God truly blessed Bijan and I with our two most sacred gifts.
Newbie blogger
Ok, I am gonna try to be a "blogger". I have always been an excellent pen pal, emailer, journal-er, diary writer...so we'll see how this goes. I am now realizing how quickly my babies are growing up-and I think a place to "jot" my thoughts, memories, and feelings would be fun.
