A very special day...

Not only is September 4th a very special day for Caleigh, but it is special day for her twin cousins Adam and Benjamin, for it is their birthday too.  Very cool that Jenni and I had our beautiful babies enter the world on the exact same day. Very special indeed..

We celebrated with the Luria's and Nana and went to Farrell's and Build a Bear.  Went swimming with Pops and the crew too...

my baby's THREE! 3!!!

So my lil baby Caleigh is THREE.  Really...THREE years have gone by ALREADY!?  Crazy.  Words can not begin to express how much I love love love my lil Calibear. That little smile of hers, just lights up a room.  The way she blinks her eyes really fast when she eats her veggies, cuz her eyes are "sparkling"...just melts my heart. I can tell she is happy when she just busts out singing...dancing around...in her own little world, like no one is watching.  She loooves her movies.  She loves putting on shows, and playing dress up. She looooves her chocolate chip bagels.  She looooves her big sister Bella.  When we are at the park, and she sees a child she doesn't know...she asks, "Whats your name?  I'm Caleigh"...totally on her own---

 Just the other day she said to me, "Mommy, my heart is your heart.". 
Yes it is Caleigh...I couldn't have said it better myself...

Swing Set

So I've been eyeing swingsets on Craigslist for sometime now. Looking for something not too big, wood, swings.  I broke down and bought one.  A lot more work involved than I had expected...
-uhaul rental--disassembling the set--a mess of pieces all of our yard--return the truck---reassemble the set--sand the set--prime the whole thing---sanding again---staining. 

Despite all the work, totally totally totally worth it. The girls loooooooove it. 

Palm Springs

So Palm Springs,in August, is HOT. Like really, really, really hot!!!  We took a little road trip this last week-guess we forgot what hot felt like here in San Diego this summer!  :) The heat wasn't too bad actually as we literally were hangin at the pool the whole time.We had fun on the lazy river, waterslides, splash zone, and the pool. It was great to just get away with the family...the HOT HOT heat and all!

Happy Anniversary.

Has it reeeaaaalllly already been 8 years?!  Crazy how time flies.  I still am so completely in love with B.  He is the best thing to happen to me. He is my best friend.  I still sincerely love being with him...we have fun together.  This last year has really strengthened our marriage and helped us to truly appreciate each other.  I realize that all things take work...including your marriage. Words can not begin to express how deeply I love Bijan...as a partner,a friend, and father.  I feel truly blessed to have the life that we have...

Princesses in Training

The girls went to Princess Camp at the rec center last weekend.  Each day they learned a princess virtue...princesses are kind, patient, polite, and helpful. The last day was the coronation, where each girl was crowned a princess. The girls did all kind of cool projects..making jewelry, treasure boxes, magic wands, clay art, painting.  There were about 6 of us that signed up our kids for this camp...we waited in line at 6:45 in the morning to get our girls IN.  Good thing we showed up that early cuz all the slots were full once we all signed up!!

Giddy up.

Went to the horse races. It was family day.  So they had pony rides, jumpers, face painting, etc.  Of course, the girls just HAAAD to go on the pony ride!  A fun day.
