Flu!!

Damn, flu bug hit me and the girls HARD.  Sunday afternoon, I felt a bit queezy...Sunday night...vomiting...all night, violently.  I can't remember the last time I got that sick.  I slept in the guest room.  Midnight...Caleigh's crying in my room...."I just threw up mama".  Oh my poor lil baby. I couldn't take care of her the way I normally would, cuz my face was in the toilet too!!!  2 am, Bella's throwing up. All three of us, peuking...ALL NIGHT long!  Bijan was our hero...taking care of the three of us. Took Monday off work as there was just NO WAY.  What a good hubby and daddy.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Today, we are all new and different people-THANK GOD.

Is it time to go back to school!?

As the girls were having a scwabble, Bella marches in her room, comes out 5 minutes later and throws this in Caleigh's face.

Good thing we are back to school in 2 days.

Playgroup pals

                                                  Will Reese be a son in law one day?

Joined playgroup with Bella when she was 3 months old. These kids have literally grown up together. They are more than friends...more like family.Bella, Reese and Sophie all met thru playgroup...then when Liz,Shel and I had our second ones, they all became friends too!  Love these kids, and their mommas...not sure how I wouldve survived without them!!!!!

Girlfriends

What a special group of women these are...hard to believe ive known them for 15 years now! It's really special that we have all remained close-through relationships, marriages, children, and so much more. There is something so strong and powerful about your girlfriends. The best therapy you could really ask for. I feel so blessed to have many groups of close friends...that I met pre kids, post kids....
Lately we have had some heavier issues to chat about at our happy hours...warms my heart that we can really lean on each other...in good times and harder ones...

Wrong side of the bed

So i was putting caleigh to bed, she asked me,"mommy, which side is the wrong side of the bed?" Puzzled...I wasn't sure how to answer. She continued..."remember when I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, which side was it?"

Man, love that girl.

Alooooha!

Had a fantastic time in Hawaii with the whole Barnum clan! We went to Oahu-and did so much! We went hiking to a waterfall, snorkeling in Hanamu Bay,a killer luau, swimming, beach, cultural center...and so much more. Asked the girls their favorite part of the trip, and they said, "playing with our cousins"..awwww, so sweet. Holidays are still hard...with mom and dad no longer together, but this was a great vacation for all.  Will post more pictures! :)
