2 lost teeth in one week!

Whaaaaat?! Caleigh lost her SECOND tooth in once week!  It has been loose. Just chewing a piece of gum in the car, and out it came! She was soooo excited, kept gazing at herself in the mirror or window. 
Really just want to freeze time...

Gymnastics!!!

The girls did a gymnastics class at the YMCA last summer and LOVED it. Their favorite part was being able to use the chalk for their hands. Signed up the girls for a session, they really enjoyed it! Bella got to go on the bars (but sadly, no chalk), and caleighs favorite was the rope swing. Best part, had a bunch of baby toys for the littlest ones to play with while the gymnasts practiced.

Just getting started...

Max and Canon-2

Mia never goes small for her kiddos bday. She comes up with the best and most creative ideas-especially her awesome cakes! This year the boys 2nd party was at old poway park-train them. Mia and craig have been friends of our since back in the day, we were roommates. They are the cutest, nicest, BEST Couple. They just complement one another so well. And as parents...oh my gosh, we feel like slackers with them...they are always SO engaged, so willing to do whatever their kiddos need. It's so sweet, and so loving. It's inspiring to watch. I'm so proud of the parents they are, it's pretty awesome.
So I thought I'd write about a bday party we went to, but instead this is about what awesome parents my friends are. My pix won't match this...need one of Mia and craig!

Lost tooth

Caleigh lost her first tooth today. It's been wiggly this week. As hot it on the gate on the stairs and out it popped. Laughing and crying at the same time.
Something inside me just wanted to cry when I saw it. I still see caleigh as my baby...she's not such a baby anymore. So bittersweet...












(She decided to put her tooth NEXT to her-on her bookshelf, as she didn't think the tooth fairy could get to her tooth under her pillow)

Project life 2012-COMPLETED

Last night I completed project life 2012. The idea is to roughly take a picture a day, everyday, to document your life.

A group of us friends got together once a month, every few weeks...to organize our books, "pearlize" (make our work pretty), cut, glue, journal, and document our lives. Great fun to hang out with these girlies, enjoy some wine, catch up, laugh, and sometimes cry. These girls helped make the whole experience such fun.

Now that I'm done, and I'm looking back at the year, it feels so good to see what we've done, where we have travelled, who we have played with, and how we have grown.

I feel so blessed to have this life. I'm happy to have my project life to document it all.

Give back!

I took bel to gepettos this afternoon (sans her sissy) to return a few duplicate gifts she got for her birthday. She got $100 in store credit. Right away she was looking for a toy for caleigh...so was SO excited to shop for her! Next, she went on to Shane...searches for a gift for him. Finally, onto herself.

Proud mama moment indeed.
