Suckers!

So we saw a few kids cruising around town with braids in their hair.  I remember when I was a kid, getting my hair braided while on vacation...it was so fun to come home lookin all tropic-ed out.  Well, I found the "braider"...in the international market...but not IN the market, down this little shady alley right next to it. They had photos on the wall...I asked how much and they told me $80 for a full head, $40 for partial, and $5 for these few dinky braids.  Well...never did I think it would cost THAT much..so yep, went for the $5 braids. Each girl got 4 braids in their hair. I gave the girl $12-$5 for each kid plus a tip.  She was like no...its $5 PER BRAID!!!  WHAT??????!!!!!  Dude, I would've never done that for $20 per kid!  Geesh!  We just got suckered!!!  I would have made a stink about it, but I didn't want to make a scene with the kids...and I am a pregnant woman in some random back alley. :)  Buuuuuut, the girls dug their braids and tried to keep them in as long as possible when we got home! :)
