The Theatre

We went up to OC to take the girls to the theatre to see The Frog Prince along with Nana and Pops.  They had an adorable tea party for the kids-with real teacups, saucers and china.  The girls had lemonade and cookies. So cute. After the tea party, it was time for the show.  The girls were prepared to see princess Tiana-as they have recently watched the Disney movie The Princess and the Frog.  So the whole time Bella was asking where Princess Tiana was...a lot of questions from Bella.  They were both fascinated by the costumes, and songs.  I was pretty impressed as all the actors were kids...ranging from 6th-12th grade.  After the show the cast was outside to sign autographs.  The girls were apprehensive too go to close to the characters-but enjoyed looking at the all again from afar.  Will defintetly return to the theatre for the next children's production...

My Valentine

Bijan watched the girls for me Valentine's weekend when I went up to visit Kadie.  He took em to Legoland AND Seaworld.  Go Bijan!!!  He is such a good daddy.  Not only is he a good daddy, but also an awesome hubby.  He made me a steak and lobster din din on Valentine's evening.  I love you BB!  xo

Firestation!!!

Our playgroup went on a little "field trip" to the fire station.  When we arrived, the firefighters weren't there...on assignment.  Sooooo...we had to wait.  Bless all those little kids, cuz they did so well without any entertainment or snacks.  I think they were just happy to see each other!  We got to see where the firefighters hang out and watch tv, the 4 refrigerators, where they sleep and of course...the FIRE TRUCKS!!  The kids all had fun.  My girls were a little weary of the firefighter in uniform.  Too cute.  Love that our playgroup still gets together after all these yearS.

Friends and Sisters

These girls are truly both sisters and friends.  They have been really enjoying each others company.  Sure they argue and fight.  They are sisters afterall....but they really, truly, love each other.  It just melts my heart to see their bond continue to grow.  There is no better feeling than watching your children genuinely love each other and want to play and be together.

Beach House Fun

We went to the San Clemente beach house this weekend.  The McGibbons  and Omi were there with us-which is always SUCH a treat for the girls.  They just adore their cousins Austin, Morgan and Kevin. The waves were out of control...they were so big and full of big rocks that just pelted the windows.  Crazy.  The girls enjoyed collected rocks, cleaning them, sorting them...over and over again.  The McGibbons kids enjoyed the freeeeezing cold water.  Its fun sharing special memories with family. We are lucky they live just 2 hours away.
