Lovin my family...

Love you Bijan Crew.  xo

What a fantastic week in paradise with all my favorite people....

Date night.

Wow, we even managed to have not one, but TWO date nights.

Cute Cousins

These 4 had so much fun together.  It was soooooo cute seeing them laugh, play, hold hands, and run around together.  Great bonding time for all of us .

PIRATE POOL!

The pirate pool was the bomb-diggity.  2 feet of water, all around...no possible way the kids can drown.  Pirate ship, wheel, water slide, tunnel.  PERFECT.

(Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villa Suites).

Somewhere....

OOOooover the rainbow....

Just beautful....

This place is just beautiful.....

Had to do it...

Of course, I had to do it...had to buy hula dresses for the girls.  I opted out for the itty bitty coconuts (not sure if the bikini top was any less revealing...) How could I resist!?

Luau.

Of course we had to go to  luau while we were in Maui.  Good atmosphere, great weather, drinks were a flowin'...good time indeed.  The girls were in complete awe of the Hula dancers, the costumes, the headpieces, the music....everything.  The coolest part was the fire dancer at the end.  Caleigh was sitting on my lap, and holding me for dear life.  I had no idea if she was enjoying the show as I was holding her so tight.  Well, she liked it.  As soon as we left the luau, she asked if we could go back.  At least twice a day, every day, she made some sort of reference to the fire dancer.  In fact, now that we are home, she STILL talks about the "fire show" daily.  :)

On our way!

We drove up to the Lurias, in Hermosa Beach, the night before we flew to Maui from LA.  Good thing.  On
the way, we got a flat tire.  Greeeeat. Of course the car is packed with our luggage, so we had to unload all the suitcases on the side of the freeway. Cop came, to make sure all was ok, to question us about the bags.... The good news, was the kids couldn't have been more thrilled.  The cop was super friendly to the girls, gave them badge stickers, and even a tow truck came!!!  What a way to start of vacay!
The girls were SUCH GOOD TRAVELLERS!

Aloooooooha!
We made it safe and sound.  The girls did I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E on the flight over! Wow, wow, wow.  We were soooo proud of them.  The girls were so excited to go in the taxi, go in the plane, rent a "new car", and of course....see our "Hawaii house".

Maui preparation.

So we are headed to Maui.  I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!  We had such a great experience last year to Oahu and I know we'll have an even better time now that the girls are another year older, and a bit "easier" to manage.  They too are equally excited.  We are goin with the Luria family...the girls couldn't be any more excited than to play with their cousins for a week straight!  :)

Ok, so I know getting nails done for little girls is a litte over the top.  This was Caleigh's first time (and Bel's like 2nd time) and both were sooooo excited.  Carefully and thoughtfully they chose their colors (hot pink for Caleigh and tourquoise...yes, tourquoise for Bel) and patiently sat with their nails, hands, and body so still.  Its amazing how a 2 year old can be pretty darn still when she wants to be.  So we had a fun girls day of a little "Maui preparation".

Aloha!!
