Sunny San Diego

Had a really nice weekend with Mom and Aunt Mary this weekend.  On Saturday, Caleigh & I met them at the ArtWalk in Little Italy (while Bella and B went to a bday party). So nice to stroll the city and admire the artwork.  Had a delicious lunch at Zia's and checked out Aunt Mary's cool place downtown.  The next day we went to Seaport Village. The girls rode the merry-go-round and Caleigh was brave and held a bird. Bella was not about to hold any bird.  Nope...no way.

I continually feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

Happy Birthday Janine!

Celebrated Janine's birthday this weekend.  I kinda forget to blog about our "grown up fun" so thought I'd try to include more photos from that area of our life...

Although I have sorta lagged on the whole bloggin thing lately. Just haven't been in the mood.

Vegas!!!

We went to Vegas with 5 days with the Boyd family...SO MUCH FUN!  We stayed at a killer house, a couple miles off the strip-with a fabulous pool.  We had a masseuse come one day to the house, for poolside massages (awesome). We went hiking at Red Rock-the kids did incredible.  We never made it to the waterfall, but we did make it to the freezing ass water. We did lots of swimming in the pool...super relaxing. We had a babysitter come 3 nights in a row (awesome) so we did lots of family stuff by day and had fun grown up time at night!  We saw La Reve at the Wynn, ate on the patio at Olives (would tootallly recommend) at Belagio, ate great sushi, went to the dualing piano bar at NY NY, checked out the new City Center (not totally impressed, but they make a stiff drink there), did some gambling, dancing and just had a great time!  I wasn't sure if Vegas was a great place to bring kiddos, but yep...it is.  Fun for the whole family.  :)

Happy Easter

Went to Orange County for Easter this year. It was fun being with both my brother and my sister and her family.  The whole Barnum gang was together.  We went to the annual egg hunt at Gallup Park, behind my parents house.  The girls were thrilled to find their eggs!  They got to meet the Easter bunny (Caleigh was still unsure of him), go for a train ride, and go on the jumpers. Bella caught sight of the face painters and insisted that we wait in line-for over an hour-to get her face painted.  On Sunday the Sadeghi family came over, Aunt Mary, Uncle Ward, Omi and Grandpa Stan.  Nice family weekend.
