Hot!

The weather has been soooo nice.  So we made our own waterslide in the backyard last weekend.  The girls had so much fun.  I was just thinking we needed to retire our dinky slide...guess not. Funny how adding water to just about anything is fun for these girls!

Papajoon visits!

Bijan's dad, "Papajoon" came down for a visit. The girls totally enjoyed their visit with him (and of course, Bijan and I did too) We went to the zoo, he made the girls their all time favorite meal-koobideh (and more than once), and best of all...he could draw pictures of ANYTHING that the girls asked him for (since he is an artist and all).

Use your FEET!

The girls started their first soccer class today thru Lil Raskals.  Sooooooo cute!!!  The coaches are GREAT-so fun, full of energy and great with the kids. Bella and Caleigh are on the same "team" along with old friends Katie, Sarah, and Sophie.  The main lesson the kids learned today was to USE THEIR FEET!!  We were laughing outloud as the kids would just pick up the ball and carry it to get down to the goal.  Geeesh, thats much easier than actually kicking it the whole way!!  :)  They did some drills, played grab the doggie tail, did goal kicks. It was awesome. They were all totally engaged and having so much fun!  Did I mention it was freezing too!!!!?? 

(I am so happy that Bijan came home early today to come to practice, cuz it was sooooo dang cute.  One of those things that you "had to be there")

Attempted Sleepover

So the girls have been BEGGING me for a sleepover.  So I caved...and let them have one. 

They were thrillllllled to see me transform Caleigh's small bed into a big bed.  They had no idea it was a trundle bed.  The first 30 minutes or so the girls were jumping on Caleigh's bed, screaming at the top of their lungs.  Next, they wanted to have a dance party. So they blared the music in her room and were having so much fun.  Its now around 9pm...they were being so incredible cute, filled with so many laughs and giggles.  I couldn't end this sleepover.  They were having too much fun. Sooooo...we brought in the portable DVD player, to calm them down a bit...They watched the movie for a little while, then it was back to jumpin on the bed.  Now its like 10:30 and I realize that sleepytime in no where in sight....so I put the girls back in their rooms.

So, we had a fun attempted sleepover. 

These girls just melt my heart.
